Documentation Required for Dirty/Snow-Covered Units

Effective 10/16/2025

If you are transporting Stellantis units and encounter vehicles that are excessively dirty or covered in snow or ice—making inspection reasonably impossible—you must provide documentation at preload, as outlined in the Stellantis instructions below. This documentation is required for Stellantis to consider waiving any potential claims.

Important: Stellantis requires notification within 48 hours. To meet this deadline, you must submit your notice to the Claims department at the time of pickup.

Please follow these steps:

  • Email claims@accelerated.com with the subject line: "Too Dirty/Snowy to Inspect"
  • Include the last 8 digits of the VIN in the body of the email so we know what unit we are working wit
  • Ensure all photos are taken at the VIN level. Photos submitted on the Parent or Load will not be accepted
  • Include a clear photo of the VIN itself when you take your preload photos

Below are the specific documentation requirements provided by Stellantis.
